2000年代始めに東京を拠点にALPH ZEN名義でハウスミュージックのDJとして活動開始。2007年からはYAMATOと共にライヴ/トラック・ユニットBasara-ZA (バサラザ) として続々と自身の作品を発表。国内の〈Futic Recordings Tokyo〉、〈Plus Records〉、〈Totem Traxx〉、海外ではイギリスの〈Baroque Records〉、リトアニアの〈Suffused Music〉、スペインの〈Mona Records〉といった名門レコード・レーベルからオリジナル楽曲、リミックス作品を発表している。それらの作品はBeroshima、The Japanese Popstars、Dave Seaman、Samuel L Session、Stelious Vassiloudisといった世界のトップDJ達にもプレイされ話題となる。また2014～2018年までHiroki Yamada、Yoshiki FunatsuとのDJトリオ KINKY GROOVE のメンバーとしても活躍。主催パーティ THE GUEST HOUSE は多くのパーティ・フリークを賑わし、国内の数多くのビッグパーティーや宇川直宏が主宰するDOMMUNEなどにも出演。オーストラリアでの海外ツアーも大成功を収める。その他にも近年ではゲーム音楽、CM、屋外フェス・イベントなどのBGM、大手企業カンファレンス等のテーマ曲、サウンドトラック制作など多方面に楽曲を提供。PRアニメーションの楽曲制作をしたボードゲーム作品「戦國ZiPANG」はアメリカのGameacon2016で金賞にも輝くなど、アンダーグラウンドなシーンで培われたその感性と才能はメジャーな舞台でも大きな飛躍を遂げている。

Tokyo based DJ/LIVE/Production partnership Basara-ZA, made up of ALPH ZEN and YAMATO. The Careers have begun since the end of 2007. Basara-ZA always shows their musical diversity which has seen their output cross genres from house to techno through skillful DJ and LIVE act. As producer, they have been making beats almost non-stop, and loving every minute of it. And guest dj/LIVE act, playing at famous club in Japan and top club overseas, they have produced the climax of the various party with the weapon that excellent skills and senses. Their original track “Kingdom” was out on Baroque Records in UK. They have been played by world-wide top DJs, such as Beroshima, Dave Seaman, Steve Parry, The Japanese Popstars, Samuel L Session, Stelios Vassiloudis. In the beginning of 2015, the original track “Stand Apart” was out on Suffused Music in Lithuania. The releases of their works are going to be out from various music labels in the future. Definitely, Basara-ZA is one of the hottest partnership towards the world from Japan.
