Lola’s sound is not definable by genre, but by mood. By blurring the lines between deep, hypnotic baselines, spectral melodies and energetic drive, Lola takes dancers on a dreamlike
journey – and tells a different story every time.
Growing up in a family deeply rooted in Antwerp’s underground scene, Lola developed her
unique understanding of electronic music at a young age. Record shops became her hive, 90s House classics the soundtrack to her childhood. While rocking the drums for over a decade, Lola’s early teenage years were spent digging and collecting at Wally’s Groove World.
Ultimately, this defined her versatile taste and growth as a DJ – and inspires the signature sound she’s admired for today. Recognized internationally, Lola receives a regular welcome at festivals like DGTL, Dimensions, Horst, Lost Village or Paradise City. And ignites worldrenowned clubs such as De School, Post Bar, Fabric London, and Berghain Panorama Bar.
In 2022, Lola founded her record label Small Steps to support promising artists. The label unites a like-minded community to explore new soundscapes and dreamy atmospheres. Through her longstanding involvement with the local music scene, Lola hosts regular label events and has established a Small Steps residency with Brussels-based Kiosk Radio.
