東京を拠点に活動する2003年生まれのDJ/オーガナイザー、Rick Shinmi。
野外パーティで再び生命の実感を掴んだ経験を起点に、幻視的なサウンドによる独自の音世界を展開。モジュラーシンセ奏者、ベーシストとしてのバックグラウンドを持ち、音の物質性と身体性への鋭い感覚をプレイへと接続している。
時にベースミュージック由来のスローな重さでフロアを沈め込み、時にサイコア由来の高速かつ苛烈なエネルギーで揺さぶり、時にドローンやフィールドレコーディング、ポエトリーリーディングを織り交ぜながら、聴覚と身体を異なる次元へと導く。そのプレイは、ストーリー性のある時間軸設計によって展開され、リチュアリスティックな没入体験を生み出す。
ジャンルやフォーマットに依存することなく、彼の指先から放たれる音は一貫してダークでディープな世界観と、生命の無限大のエネルギーに対する祝福性が溢れている。
また、主宰するパーティシリーズ Cyberia では、実験的かつ深度の高い音楽体験を提示し、国内外のアーティストを招きながら、東京における新たなダンスミュージックの文脈を形成している。度重なるバックパッキングの経験から吸収した様々な土地でのパーティのエッセンスと徹底的なフロア体験ファーストの設計、こだわり抜いたブッキングにより、一過性ではない、持続的な没入体験の場を作り出している。
また、Resident AdvisorのTokyo City Managerとして、ローカルシーンとグローバルなプラットフォームを接続する役割も担う。
2023年のデビュー以降、Brightness Festivalのような大型フェスティバルから、Unknown Gatheringや お好きにどうぞ といったフリーレイヴ、ディープな小箱から韓国やフランスでのプレイに至るまで、多種多様な現場でプレイを成功に収めてきた。
「誰であるか」は剥がれ、「ただ在ること」だけが残る、社会の外側に一瞬だけ開く別の現実として、パーティを愛し続ける彼の活躍の幅はさらに広がり続けることだろう。

Shaped by a formative experience at open-air parties, his practice bridges physicality and perception. With a background in modular synthesis and bass performance, he channels a tactile sensitivity to sound into dynamic, narrative-driven sets.
His approach moves fluidly across tempos and intensities—submerging dancefloors in slow, weighty bass pressure, erupting into the relentless velocity of Psycore, or dissolving into drones, field recordings, and spoken word. Each set unfolds as a temporal arc, culminating in deeply ritualistic, immersive experiences.
Operating beyond fixed genres, his sound remains consistently dark, deep, and charged with a sense of vitality and existential intensity.
As the founder of Cyberia, he curates experimental, high-depth dancefloor experiences, bringing together local and international artists while contributing to the evolving landscape of Tokyo’s underground. Informed by global travel and a strong floor-first philosophy, his events emphasize continuity, immersion, and careful curation.
Alongside his artistic work, he serves as Tokyo City Manager for Resident Advisor, acting as a bridge between local culture and the global electronic music network.
Since debuting in 2023, Shinmi has performed across diverse contexts—from major festivals like Brightness Festival to free raves such as “Unknown Gathering” and “Osukini Douzo,” as well as intimate club settings and international stages in South Korea and France.
His work envisions the dancefloor as a temporary rupture from social structures—where identity dissolves, and only pure existence remains. His trajectory continues to expand.
