Ever since Beni released his first record ‘the acid never lies’ under the alias Riot in Belgium big things were expected of the young. Dj/producer Supported by such heavyweights as Busy P, 2 Many DJ’s, Tiga and Erol Alkan. He then followed up with the worldwide smash ‘La Musique’ hitting every club, Festival and radio chart the world over.
Deciding to take a step back from Riot in Belgium Beni signed with the influential French label Kitsune under his given name. Whilst with them he released two hit singles My Love Sees You and Maximus which were both chosen as Mixmag’s coveted ‘Tune Of The Month.’
During this period Beni continued to cement his standing in the industry providing high profile remixes for Tiga, La Roux, Kimbra,Surkin, Yelle, Digitalism, Gotye, Yuksek and countless others.
From there Beni decided it was time to focus on producing his debut full length album. Collaborating with Sam Sparro, Etienne De Crecy, The Rapture, Hercules & Love Affair and the Presets he was able to create the uniquely original House Of Beni. The House Of Beni album would prove to be an extremely highly praised work critically receiving 4/5 stars from Rolling Stone and the coveted Triple J feature album slot.
From gracing main stage festivals in Europe to playing illegal warehouse parties in Mexico, Beni toured the world with his decade-spanning house music. His ‘House of Beni” parties in Australia proved to be a major success selling out around the country alongside tour supports for Daft Punk, Justice, MIA, Digitalism, Major Lazer and more.
In 2015 Beni then released “Another You” which has over 1,250,000 play on spotify and reached #2 on the Australian dance chart alongside his collaboration with Pantheon “Alright” released in 2016 which also reached #2 on the Australian dance chart and just saw a worldwide release through Armin van Buuren’s label Armada. IN 2017 his collaboration with former The Rapture bassist and vocalist Mattie Safer and his remix of Mylo’s classic Drop The Pressure Both cracked the top 15 on the Australian dance chart.
In 2018 Beni Signed a worldwide deal for his side project “The Psalm” through E-One entertainment.
In 2019 Beni released “Start the Dance” which was featured on numerous charts around the world and gained radio play through out the US, Australia and Europe before his much anticipated release “Meant to” a collaboration with Nicky Night Time scheduled for release in August 2019.
