Ballads is a producer/DJ based in Portland, OR, USA and a RedBullMusicAcademy alumni. In recent years, Ballads has embraced his love for global club music and DJ edits, fluidly crossing over EDM and open format. He incorporates house, bailefunk, miami-bass and other sub-genres of dance music into his work, which has landed his edits on the USBs of tens of thousands of DJs globally. His edits are played on multiple Boiler Room and Coachella Stages, with recent support from Skrillex, KennyBeats, RLGrime, Baauer, Tinashe, Jyoty, Fredagain, Mr.Carmack, ApeDrums, CRAZE, FourColorZack, SinjinHawke, Flosstradamus, and many more. Over the years, Ballads has played DJ sets with Bonnaroo, SXSW, WhatTheFestival, Soulection, SashaMarie, JAEL, Baauer, Amine, Goldlink, Falcons, Esta, UNIIQU3, DJSliink, SonnyDigital, Rustie, HudsonMohawke, and many more. Summer 2024 has seen Ballads traversing the US for a string of dates, setting him up for an extensive run of TBA international DJ debuts in Fall 2024 and early2025.
