国内外の数々の名門クラブ、フェスに出演するDJであり、レコードバイヤー。Barong、Cisco House Shop、Jet Setといった有力レコードショップのバイヤーを歴任し、この 20年以上のキャリアを通して培われ続けている豊富な音楽知識こそが、彼の Dr.なる敬称を意味している。
Chee Shimizu、Jonny Nash、Zecky らと共に構成されたユニット DISCOSSESSION としては、日本でいち早くイタロ、コズミックといった欧州深奥部のディスコを再定義したサウンドを展開し、バレアリック再考に先鞭を付け、世界的に注目を浴びる。
その経験と知識に裏付けられたプレイは、瀧見憲司、Daniel Wang、DJ Cosmo、Lovefingers、Todd Terje、 Beppe Loda といった共演アーティスト達からも賞賛を浴びている。現在では、それぞれがソロ名義でも活躍する COMPUMA、AWANO と共に悪魔の沼を展開、ダンスフロアには幾分スローな BPM から高密度、高強度なグルーヴを創り出している。2018年7月からは渋谷の名店Lighthouse Recordsに籍を置き、世界のグッとくる新譜を紹介中。

DJ and record buyer who has performed at many prestigious clubs and festivals in Japan and abroad. As a buyer, he worked for prominent record stores such as Barong, Cisco House Shop, and Jet Set. This wealth of musical knowledge he has accumulated throughout his 20+ year career is what has earned the honorary name of “Dr.”. As the unit DISCOSSESSION with Chee Shimizu, Jonny Nash, Zecky, he was one of the first in Japan to redefine the depth of European disco and pioneering the reconsider of Balearic music.
His set backed by these experience and knowledge have earned him the praise of collaborators such as Kenji Takimi, Daniel Wang, DJ Cosmo, Lovefingers, Todd Terje, Beppe Loda.
Currently, he is developing “Akuma No Numa (悪魔の沼)” with COMPUMA and AWANO, both of whom are also active as solo artists, creating high-density/intensity grooves from somewhat slower BPMs on the dance floor.
Since July 2018, he has been based at Lighthouse Records, a well-known record store in Shibuya, introducing new and exciting releases from around the world.
