イギリス出身、東京在住のSubmerseはゲーム音楽やホラー映画など、超個人的な影響を独自のセンスで消化し、ジャングル、フットワーク、ハードコア、ヒップホップを縦横無尽に横断するユニークなスタイルを持つプロデューサー/DJとして知られている。これまでに名門レーベルの〈Future Retro London〉や〈R&S〉（Apollo Records)、イギリスの老舗レーベル〈Hospital Records〉から作品をリリースひ、Boiler Room、BBC Radio 1、NTS、Rinse FMなどに出演。イギリスの国民的シンガーEllie Gouldingのオフィシャルリミックスや、ジャングルシーンを代表するプロデューサーTim Reaper、R&BプロデューサーDevin Morrison、ラッパーBIMやJUBEEとのコラボレーションなど、ジャンルや国境を超えた活動を続けている。
