Ckrono（「クロノ」）は、イタリアと日本のハーフであるDJ／音楽プロデューサーであり、イタリア・フィレンツェにて生まれ、現在はミラノを拠点として活動している。
幼少期はシエナで伝統的な打楽器を学びつつ、「JUPITER」という中学校のフルートオーケストラに所属し、数々のコンペティションで優勝を経験。音楽を貪るように吸収する日々を過ごし、21歳で音楽制作とDJ活動を開始した。ハウスミュージックとベースミュージックに魅了されたのち、グローバル・ベースサウンドへ傾倒し、ヨーロッパにおける初期のムーンバートンプロデューサーの一人として頭角を現す。
2011年から2016年にかけては、Sleshとのデュオプロジェクト「CKRONO & SLESH」として活動。UKベース、ジューク、ダブ、ハウス、アフロビートなど、多様なダンスミュージックの領域を横断的に探求し、「Railways EP」（Meanbucket, 2013）、「Slang」（Enchufada, 2015）、「Kayapo」（Voodoo Rebel, 2016）の3枚のEPをリリースした。
2016年以降はソロアーティストとしてミラノに拠点を移し、ブラジル・ファンクとそのサブジャンルへの情熱をより深く掘り下げるようになる。ブラジルのMCであるMc Bin Laden、Mc Duarte、Marombaらと楽曲を共作し、2018年にはMACEとの共作「Vroom Vrau」をリリース。DiploやMajor Lazerが主宰するレーベル〈Mad Decent〉から発表されたこの楽曲には、当時最も人気のあったMC・Mc Bin Ladenが参加している。
また、2016年からはミラノで定期的に開催されているパーティ「BALERA FAVELA」を主催し、毎回200〜1200人規模の動員を誇っている。彼の楽曲やエディットは、世界各国のDJ、例えばJyotyなどによってプレイされ続けている。
CkronoのDJセットは、世界各地のグローバル・ダンス・ミュージックをミックスしたものであり、8年前からの彼の主軸であるBaile Funk（バイレファンク）を中心に、アフロハウス、メキシコのトライバル、グアラチャなど多彩なジャンルが融合されている。常にボーダーレスで多文化的な音楽を求めており、ポスト・グローバルなインターネット時代において、音楽を異文化間の架け橋と捉える姿勢を貫いている。
コロナ禍以降は、JovanottiやRicchi e Poveriといったイタリアの著名アーティストのリミックスを手がける機会にも恵まれた。一方で、最近のリリースは、ペルー出身のプロデューサーLukroおよびEl Turro della Calleとのアンダーグラウンドな楽曲であり、商業的枠に囚われない制作活動を続けている。
2025年、彼の音楽はさらに加速する一年となるであろう。

Ckrono[“Crono”] is half Italian and half Japanese dj and music producer born in Florence in Italy and now stable in Milan. After a childhood between traditional drumming in Siena, member of several competition winning mid-school flute orchestra “JUPITER”, and music devourer, he started producing and djing at the age of 21. After falling in love with house and bass music, he focused on global bass sound and ended up being one of the first moombahton producers in Europe. From 2011 to 2016 he partnered with Slesh as in a duo project “CKRONOANDSLESH”, exploring a wide spectrum of dance sounds such as uk bass, juke, dub, house, afrobeat. They released 3eps, “RailwaysEP”(Meanbucket2013), “Slang”(Enchufada2015), “Kayapo”(VoodooRebel2016). From 2016 he moved to Milan and back as a solo artist it was time to explore in a deeper way his passion for Brazilian funk and all it’s sub genres and ended up producing songs with Brazilian mcs like McBinLaden, McDuarte, Maromba. His single “VroomVrau” alongwith MACE, was released by MadDecent(Diplo,MajorLazer) in 2018 featuring the most famous mc at the time, McBinLaden. He Runs BALERA FAVELA a regular party in Milan since 2016(2001200ppl) and his tunes and edits are regularly played by worldwide djs like Jyoty. His dj sets are a mix of global dance music from all over the world, from BaileFunk(whichishismainpassionsince8years), to afrohouse, to mexican tribal and guaracha. He always looked for new borderless and multicultural music, where music is the link between different cultures in a post-global internet world. After covid, he had the chance to produce remixed for some of the most famous Italian artists like Jovanotti and Ricchi e Poveri. His latest release thou is an underground song with Lukro, a Peruvian producer and El Turro della Calle. 2025 will be the full of music!
