ドイツ南西部の小さな村で生まれ育つ。幼少期から常に音楽的な営みに引き寄せられる不思議な力が存在していた。早くからドラムを始め、地元のアンダーグラウンドなコンサートに通い、その後は地域のクラブシーンに深く没入し、最終的にはその世界に身を置くようになった。
DJとしての旅路は、ニューヨーク・ディスコの煌びやかなストリート、シカゴ・ハウスの野性的なグルーヴ、そして当時の現代的なハウスやテクノに見られる気恥ずかしい誤謬を経て、よりディープでミニマルなハウス／テクノへと向かっていった。彼の際立った選曲眼、リスクを恐れないDJとしての姿勢、そして時間軸を超越した新旧のレコードを取り入れる成熟したミックススタイルが、同世代の中でも一線を画す存在として際立たせている。
マックスは自らをプロデューサーというよりも、むしろDJであり、ある種のキュレーターであると位置づけている。人々と感性をつなぎ、イベントに最適なレコードを持ち寄り、志を同じくする人々や友人たちのためのネットワークを設計することに情熱を注いでいるのである。

Born and raised in Germany’s south west in a tiny village. There was always some magical force drawing him to musical endeavors – starting playing the drums at an early age, going to local underground concerts and later diving into the local club scene he, where he finally stayed for good.
His journey as a DJ brought him from the glimmering streets of New York disco, the wild grooves of Chicago house and all the cringy fallacies of then-modern day contemporary house and techno to the more deeper and minimalistic aspects of house and techno. His distinctive selection, his ability to take risks as a DJ and his matured style of mixing, that embraces records that fall out of time both old and new, are making him stand out as a DJ of his generation. Rather than being a producer Max sees himself more as a DJ and curator of sorts. Bringing people and taste together, bring the right records to the event and design a network for likeminded people and friends.
