オスロ出身のDJ Sprinterは、今年初めにBandcampにてデビューEP「Vol.1」をリリース。同作は瞬く間にDJたちの注目を集め、Boiler Room、NTS、Rinse FMといったプラットフォームでプレイされ、Pearson Sound、Ben UFO、Conducta、Denham Audioといったアーティストからの支持を得ている。
Bandcampでのセルフリリースによって頭角を現した後、Piñata Radio、Voices London、Not Tokyoといった拠点でミックスを披露し、10月1日にはHÖR Berlinでの出演も予定されている。
UKベース、ブレイクビーツ、解体的なクラブサウンドからインスピレーションを得つつ、世界各地のリズムを自在に取り入れ、ノスタルジックな参照と現代的な感覚の均衡を図るアーティストである。
