10代からロックバンドでベーシストとして過ごし、その後ヒップホップ、R&B、ハウスのDJとして都内各所で活動
様々な音楽ジャンルでの経験を通じてダンスミュージックを中心としたDJとして数々のクラブ、イベントでレジデントDJとして活躍する。
2016年にドイツの〈Housesesion Records〉の〈Sume Music〉から「Faith House」をリリースし、Stonebridge、Slidebackなどのグラミー賞ノミネート実績もある海外アーティストからサポートを受け、様々なコンピレーションアルバムに収録される。さらにKat Delunaのリミックスなども手掛けている。
2020年からアーティスト名義をyujihirumaとし、EP「Progress」をリリース。ハウスミュージックだけでなくエレクトロ、ロック、ヒップホップ、R&B、ポップ、80sなどを取り入れたエッジのある音楽を生み出している。
さらにYUJI名義でのローファイプロジェクトも始動させ、iTunes 邦ヒップホップ注目トラック、 Spotify Road to Trip Tokyoなど多数のプレイリスト入りを果たしている。

Starting as a bassist in a rock band during his teenage years, this individual went on to DJ various genres including Hip Hop, R&B, and House at numerous clubs and events throughout Tokyo. Through his experience in a range of musical genres, he established himself as a DJ primarily focused on Dance Music and was able to serve as a resident DJ at various venues.
In 2016, he released “Faith House” under the label Sume Music of Housesesion Records, which was supported by Grammy-nominated artists such as Stonebridge and Slideback. His tracks were also included in various compilation albums, and he even worked on remixing songs for Kat Deluna.
In 2021, he started using the artist name “yujihiruma” and released the EP “Progress”
He creates edgy music that incorporates not only House Music, but also Electro, Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, and 80s music.
Furthermore, he has launched a LO-FI project under the name “YUJI” and has achieved success on various playlists such as iTunes’ “Japan Featured Track Section” and Spotify’s “Road to Trip Tokyo”.
