The Magicianは、モダン・ハウス・ミュージックを代表する重要な存在である。Aeroplaneの共同設立者として活動した後、2010年にソロ・キャリアを始動した。Lykke Li「I Follow Rivers」のリミックスはマルチ・プラチナを記録し、その後も「Sunlight」「Shy」「Hippies」といったヒット曲を次々と発表している。

2024年11月初旬、キャリア15年の節目として、初のスタジオ・アルバム「VOYAGE」を発表する。本作は、著名なピアニストSofiane PamartとプロデューサーSamaranのサポートのもと制作された作品であり、1980〜90年代のシンセサイザー・サウンドと、現代的なインディ・ポップのメロディが融合したThe Magicianならではの世界観が描かれている。楽曲のみならず、彼の美学に寄り添うスタジオWerlen Meyerによるシングルおよびアルバムのビジュアル表現も、この旅をさらに拡張している。本プロジェクトは、L’Officiel、Rolling Stone、Flaunt Magazine、Tune In Mag、Le Soir、Guettapen、The Eyebookなど、数多くのメディアから高い評価を受けている。

The Magician is a leading figure in modern house music. After co-founding Aeroplane, he launched his solo career in 2010. His remix of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” went multi-platinum, followed by hit tracks like “Sunlight” “Shy” and “Hippies”.
As a remixer, he has worked with artists such as Polo & Pan, Vladimir Cauchemar, Sebastien Tellier, Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Tom Grennan, Boston Bun, and more. His “Magic Tapes” series solidified his role as a tastemaker, and he further reinforces this status with his own label, Potion Records.
The Magician has toured extensively across the globe, performing at iconic venues and festivals like Coachella, Tomorrowland, Ushuaia Ibiza, EDC Las Vegas, Warung Brazil, CRSSD San Diego, Hideout Croatia, Printworks London, Sound LA, and Audio SF. He’s also held a five-year residency at Elsewhere Brooklyn. He also made a successful tour and more with Canadian DJ and producer A-Trak and released together the single ‘Love On You’.
In early November 2024, after 15 years in the industry, he unveils his first studio album VOYAGE, a project shaped with the support of renowned pianist Sofiane Pamart and producer Samaran. The album is The Magician’s secret blend of ’80s and ’90s synthesizer sounds and more contemporary indie pop melodies. The journey continues both through the music and the incredible visuals for the singles and album, which were created by studio Werlen Meyer to match the aesthetic he loves. Numerous media endorsements have accompanied this project, including L’Officiel, Rolling Stone, Flaunt Magazine, Tune In Mag, Le Soir, Guettapen, The Eyebook and more.
Alongside his album release, he also teamed up with Purple Disco Machine on his album with the focus single called All My Life, which has already amassed over than 23 millions streams.
