パンク、エモ、メタルに満ちた環境で育ち、さらに独裁的な空気のもとでの早期体験によって形成された彼女の表現には、反抗的な精神が色濃く刻まれている。マニラのエレクトロニック・ミュージック・シーンにおいて、彼女は暗くカタルシスに満ちた独自のサウンドで知られている。一方でオフの時間には、ジャンルを横断する遊び心ある探究を通じて自身を解放している。
マニラのアンダーグラウンドにおける重要な存在として、彼女は規範への同調を拒み、純粋なかたちでの生の自己表現を受け入れるサウンドスケープを創出している。
彼女は、音楽・アート・オルタナティブな創造運動を通じてフェミニンな自律性のための場を切り拓く、FLINTA*中心のアート/ミュージック・プロジェクト Aeterna の共同創設者でもある。この活動により、マニラのアンダーグラウンド・シーンにおけるキーパーソンとしての地位を確立した。
幅広く緻密な選曲と妖艶な存在感で知られる彼女は、マニラ初の著名なクィア・テクノレイヴ That Elephant Party を通じてその名を広く知られるようになった。その後、SadoMasoDisco、Continuum Bass、Kaput、UNKNWNといったアンダーグラウンド・パーティへの定期的な出演を重ね、Warpholeのレジデントも務めている。2024年にはマニラ・メトロポリタン美術館でのパフォーマンスを行ったほか、Mono By Phono、旧FUTUR:ST、12×12 Bangkokなどのヴェニューでイベントを主催してきた。
これまでにDi Linh、Maara、Xiaolin、Mari Sakurai、Baldoといった国際的アーティストと共演し、彼女のミックスはToha Radio、Foundation.fm、FM BELOWGROUNDで紹介されている。

Christal is an artist who surrenders to spontaneity and catastrophe. In music & sound, her journey from underground and queer parties to DJing sparked her pursuit in sonic storytelling.
Shaped by an upbringing steeped in punk, emo, and metal music and early exposure to a dictatorial environment, she bears a rebellious ethos in her artistry. She is known in the Manila electronic music scene for her distinctly dark, cathartic sounds. During her downtime, she decompresses in genre-blurring, playful exploration. A staple of Manila’s underground, she creates soundscapes that defy conformity, embracing the need for raw self-expression in its purest form.
She’s the co-founder of Aeterna, a FLINTA-centric art and music project creating an avenue for feminine autonomy through music, art, and alternative creative movement, cementing her role as a key figure in Manila’s underground scene.
Known for her extensive selections and alluring presence, she became a familiar name through That Elephant Party, Manila’s first renowned queer techno rave. Her reach expanded with recurring performances at underground parties SadoMasoDisco, Continuum Bass, Kaput, and UNKNWN, and she is a resident at Warphole. In 2024, she performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila. She also organized events at notable venues, including Mono By Phono, the former FUTUR:ST, and 12×12 Bangkok. She has played alongside international acts such as Di Linh, Maara, Xiaolin, Mari Sakurai, Baldo, with her mixes featured on Toha Radio, Foundation.fm, and FM BELOWGROUND.
