コロンビアのシーンだけでなく、意外でも急速にキャリアを築いており、2018年にはコロンビア最大のエレクトロニックミュージックのステージの一つであるFreedom Medellin Electronic Music Festivalに初出演し、その後もコロンビアで最も著名な会場で様々なイベントに出演おり、 自身のプロジェクトを拡大してきたラウナネアは、コロンビアだけでなくヨーロッパでも重要人物となり、ベルリンの象徴的なクラブTresor、ヘルシンキのÄäniwalli、ポーランドのGare Porto、Ciałoなどのクラブでプレイするほか、ポーランドのUp to Date、イギリスのAbove & Below、ポルトガルのBoom Festivalなどのフェスティバルにも出演しています。LAUNAEAは、ドイツの象徴的なレーベル〈Robert Johnson〉からのソロリリースや、Laura BCRなどのアーティストとのコラボレーション、〈Semantica Records〉でのソロプロジェクトなど、様々なリリースを通じて自身のビジョンをさらに発展させてきました。彼のレーベルは、2018年からコロンビアのさまざまな都市でイベントシリーズを開催し、Marco Shuttle、Agonis、Korridor、Dino Sabatini、Refracted、Stefan Vincentなどのアーティストを招聘しているほか、〈Midgar Records〉や〈Harmony Rec〉とのショーケースも行っている。

Born in Manizales, Colombia, Launaea’s delicate sonic vision has always been distinguished by an evolving growth of lush atmospheres blended with percussive and tribal rhythms, taking nature as a source of inspiration and subtly converging textures and soundscapes that move between moments of tension and calm. Whether playing live or through his most recent productions, Launaea continues to captivate audiences with his artistic approach, working with labels including Semantica Records, On Board Music, Robert Johnson, as well as his own imprint, From a Lost Place.
His career has been rapidly building in the Colombian scene as well as in the global circuit, and 2018 marks his first live appearance at none other than Freedom Festival, one of Colombia’s largest stages for electronic music, followed by different events in some of the most prolific venues in Colombia. Expanding his musical project, Launaea has become a key figure in Colombia but also in Europe, leading him to play in clubs like the iconic Tresor in Berlin, Ääniwalli in Helsinki, Gare Porto, Ciało in Poland, and also followed by festivals such as Up to Date in Poland, Above & Below in the UK and Boom Festival in Portugal.
Launaea has furthered his vision through various releases, both solo and in collaborations with artists such as Laura BCR for the iconic German label Robert Johnson, and solo projects for Semantica Records, among others. His label has also served as an event series in different cities in Colombia since 2018, hosting artists such as Marco Shuttle, Agonis, Korridor, Dino Sabatini, Refracted and Stefan Vincent among others, as well as showcases with Midgar Records and Harmony Rec.
