東京を拠点とする楽器メーカーLight Reftの創設者であるDZAは、世界中の何千人ものミュージシャンに愛用されているエレクトロニック・ミュージック用デバイスを手掛けている。
1990年代後半から活動を開始し、モスクワのダンスシーンに実験的なヒップホップサウンドを導入した立役者であり、その後、エレクトロニック・ミュージック、ブレイクビーツ、スクラッチ、そしてクラシック・ヒップホップを基盤とした独自のスタイルを確立した。
また、メルセデス・ベンツ、ディオール、イヴ・サンローランなどのブランドでオーディオデザイナーとしても活躍しており、Netflixの『Love, Death + Robots』や『X-STORY』に関連するプロジェクトにも携わっている。

Founder of Tokyo-based instrument company Light Reft, DZA creates electronic music devices used by thousands of musicians worldwide.
Active since the late 1990s, he helped bring experimental hip-hop sounds into the Moscow dance scene, later developing a signature style rooted in electronic music, breakbeats, scratching, and classic hip-hop.
He has also worked as an audio designer for brands including Mercedes, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and others, with projects connected to Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots and X-STORY.
