関西を中心に活動するテクノDJ、TUIは、関西を代表するテクノパーティ DEN-EN のファウンダー、ブッカーとして、日本のテクノシーンに新しい風を吹きこんでいる。TUIは、音楽的知識と経験の反映された選曲でフロアを魅了し、観客をグルーヴの中に取り込んでいく。幼少期のほとんどを古典音楽家、研究者の親戚のそばで過ごし、クラシック音楽から多大な影響を受けて育ちました。化学反応のようなグルーヴとリズムは、多様なジャンルに触れることで培われた、自身の幅広い経験と理論に裏打ちされた唯一無二のものです。また在学する大学では建築学を専攻しており、音と空間の関わりについても幅広い知見を得ている。単なる音楽的知識に留まらず、音楽とダンスフロアという”空間”との関わりを重視し、実験的な試みも絶えず続けている。TUIは、日本の伝統あるクラブ、京都メトロを中心として、CIRCUS OSAKAなど日本主要ヴェニューでプレイ。また日本に限らずアジア、ヨーロッパで活動するアーティストとの結びつきも強く、国内外のアーティストとコラボしながら作曲、DJを続けている。2024年9月以降、TUIはテクノイベント DEN-EN のオーガナイザーとして、時代を先取りする卓越したブッキングで観客や関係者の信頼を勝ち取っており、今後様々なテクノシーンに溶け込むことは間違いない。またDEN-ENは今日本において最も勢いのあるテクノイベントの一つであり、今後より一層勢いを増し、シーンに影響を与えることは疑いの余地がないだろう。

Kansai-based techno DJ, TUI is a founder and booker of DEN-EN, one of the leading techno parties in Kansai, and is bringing a fresh wind to the Japanese techno scene.
TUI captivates the floor and gets the crowd in the groove with his song selections that reflect his musical knowledge and experience. Having spent most of his childhood around relatives who were classical musicians and researchers, he grew up heavily infl uenced by classical music. The grooves and rhythms of his music are like a chemical reaction, and are uniquely his own, backed by his extensive experience and theory cultivated through exposure to a wide variety of genres.
He is also majoring in architecture at university, which has given him a broad knowledge of the relationship between sound and space. He is not only musically knowledgeable, but also focuses on the relationship between music and the “space” of the dance floor, and is constantly experimenting with it.
TUI has played at major venues in Japan, including the traditional Japanese club Kyoto Metro and CIRCUS OSAKA. Since September 2024, TUI has been the organizer of the techno event “DEN-EN”, winning the trust of the audience and other people involved with his outstanding direction and booking. DEN-EN is one of the most active techno events in Japan today, and there is no doubt that it will gain even more momentum and influence the scene in the future.
