Disco Scene Pioneer Kenji Takimi to Appear at SOUNDS

Kenji Takimi, a pioneer in the disco scene, appears at SOUNDS. He has performed at Rainbow Disco Club, DK SOUND, and other major festivals, and has been described as a “Master of The Romantic” and continues to be an influential DJ in the music scene. His own label, 〈Crue-L〉, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and in addition to releasing official mix CDs, he has worked extensively as a remixer for Cut Copy, Nina Kraviz, Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music), Boris, Cornelius, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Pizzicato V, Sebastien Tellier, and Your Song Is Goodand. He is a charismatic figure in the leftfield/alternative house/disco scene.
Sam Fitzgerald is one of the most talented record-only DJs, having worked with such international names as Francois K, James Murphy, Tim Sweeny, Mark E, Tom Middleton, and Optimo.Disco DJ’s Daiki, who hold the party Vendor, the boutique where he works and sells nonnative, who performs at Mitsuki and VENT. and KAMOME of Vinyl Youth will brings club time together. and Karuta and Vinyl Youth’s Daichi will appear at the AFTERHOURS.
DJs with record sets will gather to create a euphoric musical space until Sunday morning.
